Robert Paterson, others to headline Iowa DTV Symposium
I wouldn’t last a day as a headline writer.
While I’m in conference mode, let me recommend to you pubcasters, the Iowa DTV Symposium, which takes place October 3-5 in Des Moines, Iowa. This has become one of the big technical gatherings in public and commercial television, with the BBC, WGBH and others participating, but its content track is getting stronger with each year. At the moment, the agenda isn’t finalized, but I do know that Robert Paterson will be speaking on Wednesday, October 4th, (is this first public media conference where he’s spoken since New Realities?) and Dennis Haarsager is also going to be among the participants, once again. It’s a smart conference, with tracks for gearheads and contentheads. Registration is free, and when was the last time you heard those words?
