DTV Symposium: Haarsager Wards Off Twister
Tuesday afternoon at 4:30pm at the Iowa DTV Symposium, Dennis Haarsager began giving his excellent presentation, “Myth, Media and Meta: Three Information Epochs and What They Mean for Broadcasting.” A few minutes into the presentation, a gust of wind blew open one of the windows in the conference room. We all laughed, noted The Almighty’s approval of the Haarsager Theory, and went on.
Turns out, that was the brief touchdown of a tornado three blocks away.
Holy cow! I didn’t know that. Just now getting back to the Net after being mostly absent since Des Moines and saw this post tonight. Thanks for the nice review of my presentation.
