Google Gears, now ready for FF3

In the midst of the Apple Storm yesterday, I completely forgot that I got an update for the Google Gears Firefox extension (now known simply as “Gears”) – the update that makes it compatible with Firefox 3.

I still have a shortlist of extensions that won’t work with FF3, but this was the big one; for a while now, I’ve been working with FF2 and FF3, reserving FF2 for travel so I could use the offline functionality of Gears. Now, I can “offline” using FF3.
