I don't think PRPD is on my dance card this year, unfortunately. Hopefully it'll happen before IMA. All my near-term travel seems to suddenly involve DC for some reason.

Dougist - thanks for the comment! I like the idea of a separate Gmail account for tasks, etc. Some folks also use the "username+" addressing to get emails into specific folders or labels on Mail, Gmail, etc. And on Journler... I love it, and I'm glad to see that Phil is continuing to push it forward - it's more useful to me than Yojimbo and other software like it.

Notes:

+1 on iPhone's weird insistence on non sync'ed notes. I use an old(er) fashioned process. For notes or reminders I have a separate GMail account that I have in my address book with a last name of "ToDo". I use it from any of my computer to put ideas, notes, ephemera out there so they are available on my iPhone.

I wrote about Journler recently.

http://dougist.com/index.php?p=25

I'd be surprised if Phil doesn't find a way to make it iPhone accessible, which would make this process redundant. (perhaps)

Doug
(btw: Nice site)

Keith - thanks for the comment! We could trade... I talk about my GTD setup and you give me an update on Public Action, etc. You going to PRPD?

David, thanks for the comment! Things is quite cool - I've used it and it's excellent and easy to use. And it deserves a mention in that it also syncs (via wifi) with the desktop version.

We are brothers in GTD geekiness. The only difference in our workflows is that I use Things rather than RTM and Omnifocus. I've tried out all the apps and Things is definitely my favorite.

It's clear that you've learned a ton on how to make these tools work for you. I'm a bit of a GTD noob and my tools aren't nearly as integrated. I suspect that I would adopt much of this if I better understood the specifics of what and why your tools and tips were deployed.

If we're ever in the same state, I promise to buy you lunch if you to walk me through this.
